We can safely say that cloud computing answers the needs reported by a business. Organizations that need tools to deliver and test new solutions do not have to build their data centers. They can take advantage of the computing power provided by external clouds.

What is cloud computing?

In a nutshell, cloud computing is a computing cloud that takes the form of a multi-level internet structure. For the services on the network to work, two conditions must be met. First, cloud storage resources and services must be available upon request. Thanks to this, each user can use them exactly when he needs them and how they suit him. The second feature of cloud storage is high flexibility. It means that the service automatically scales as the customer's needs grow.

Therefore we can say that cloud computing is an application and IT resources that the Internet provides to the customer at his request. We are talking about networks, servers, applications, services, and mass storage. It is worth finding out what the usage models are for cloud computing.

Software as a Service - SaaS

It is a model that includes various applications operating in the cloud, i.e., software made available to users, connecting with them via the Internet and a browser. This usage model has many advantages, including the ability to quickly register and start using the application, high availability of data, and security in the event of a computer failure. It is also worth mentioning the possibility of dynamic scaling of the service, considering the client's needs.

Platform as a service - PaaS

It is a model that provides platforms in the form of a service, allowing the customer to eliminate the costs and problems associated with purchasing and maintaining a physical hardware platform and the necessary software. This model enables faster application development and a much more efficient market. You can immediately deploy new applications in the cloud and simplify the environment as much as possible, thanks to the implementation of middleware, which takes the form of service.

Infrastructure as a Service - IaaS

This concept covers infrastructure provision that enables customers to use networks, servers, mass storage, and data processing. Thanks to this, the customer does not have to invest in very expensive equipment, and the infrastructure is tailored exactly to his needs. This model provides the client with innovative and flexible services every time he needs them.

In summary, it's hard to imagine a modern business without cloud computing. Since it is a solution that has many advantages, more and more companies use it. Any entity interested in using the cloud should contact the company operating in the field of cloud bespoke solutions.
